Basic Definitions
A bet is an amount of money placed on a specific event with an element of risk. A bet is considered winning if the predicted event occurs and losing if it does not happen or ends with a different result.
An outcome is the final result used to settle the bet.
A customer is any individual who places bets.
A sportsbook refers to the information provided by the bookmaker, including events, available markets, and odds.
General Terms and Conditions
Melbet operates under an official Curaçao gaming license No. 8048/JAZ2020-060 and provides its services internationally in accordance with applicable gambling regulations, including access for users in Bangladesh.
Bets are accepted and winnings are paid only after successful identity verification. All customers must be at least 18 years old. Any wager that violates the Terms and Conditions may be canceled.
Each customer is allowed to have only one account. Accounts are linked to a single IP address, email, payment method, or e-wallet. Violations of this rule may result in account suspension for up to two months and recalculation of funds.
The conditions under which a bet is placed remain unchanged, even if general betting rules are updated later. Melbet reserves the right to refuse any bet without providing a reason.
Bets placed due to obvious errors, such as incorrect odds or misprints, may be declared invalid and settled with odds of 1.0. If suspicious activity is detected, betting on the event may be suspended until investigations by relevant authorities are completed. In confirmed cases of fraud or match-fixing, settlements are also made at odds of 1.0.
If a bet is settled incorrectly, it will be recalculated. Bets placed during the recalculation period remain valid. In cases of clear pricing errors, settlements are adjusted according to fair market odds.
A Simultaneous Finish occurs when more than one participant is declared the winner. If there are two winners, the payout is split. If more than two winners are involved, the bet is settled at odds of 1.0. This rule does not apply to “To Be Higher” markets.
Customers are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure. Technical issues, including internet failures, are not valid grounds for canceling bets.
Only results officially published by Melbet are used for settlement purposes. Information from third-party bookmakers is not taken into account.
Customers must verify that winnings are credited correctly. Any discrepancies must be reported with supporting evidence within 10 days.
If fraudulent behavior is detected, Melbet may take one or more of the following actions:
- cancel bets;
- close the account and confiscate funds;
- report the case to legal authorities.
Accounts may be closed and balances frozen if a customer:
- had prior knowledge of event results;
- could influence the outcome of an event;
- participated in organized betting schemes to bypass limits;
- used multiple accounts;
- used automated betting software;
- engaged in any other actions that violate company rules.
Melbet may request additional documents to verify identity. Verification can take up to 72 hours after submission. If the information is found to be invalid, bets may be canceled and withdrawals suspended until the investigation is completed.
The bookmaker reserves the right to amend or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates take effect once published on the official website.
Melbet is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect use of the platform, misunderstanding of betting rules, technical failures, or data inaccuracies.
Betting Rules
The minimum bet amount is 10 BDT, or the equivalent in other currencies.
Maximum bet limits are determined individually based on the event.
The maximum payout from a single bet is 1,000,000 BDT or its currency equivalent.
Melbet may adjust betting limits and odds at its discretion. Repeated bets on the same outcome may be restricted.
A bet is considered accepted once it appears in the “Bet History” section. Notification delays do not affect bet validity.
A bet wins only if all selected outcomes are predicted correctly. Bets are accepted before the event starts, except for live betting, which remains open during the event.
Bets on completed events are automatically rejected. Invalid bets are refunded, while incorrectly settled bets are recalculated.
Information about event postponements or cancellations comes exclusively from official sources such as sports federations and clubs.
Live and pre-match bets cannot be edited or canceled once placed. Betting involves risk and should be based on multiple reliable information sources.
Regional tournament bets may be settled within up to 10 days. If a participant withdraws, all related bets are refunded.
Types of Bets
Melbet offers several betting formats.
A single bet is placed on one outcome. Winnings equal the stake multiplied by the odds.
An accumulator bet combines several outcomes from different events. All selections must be correct for the bet to win.
A system bet consists of multiple accumulator combinations. A predefined number of correct selections is required for a payout, such as “5 out of 8”.
Responsible Betting
